Citywire.co.uk have themselves quite a little scoop to add to their excellent coverage of the Arch Cru situation. They are currently screening a promo video for the Arch Cru Finance fund where it is described by the former Arch CIO Michael Derks as nearer to one on a one to five scale in terms of risk. We are also treated to the head of Cru, the firm that promoted the fund, Jon Maguire interviewing him. Maguire happily translates for the retail market to suggest the fund is cautious. Of course Jon. That’s right.
Most advisers will know the history of the fund, some to their great regret.
One might question exactly the value of any interview involving two firms promoting a deal but I suppose it is only marketing aping a journalistic form and it won’t be the first or last time that has been done.
Anyway I digress. My main point is a request to Citywire. Dear Citywire you present an excellent package with analysis also showing lots of your other stories by way of illustration. But please can you show us the whole video if you have it?
